ReplyDeleteThis is a really great poem and my favorite of the day!
ReplyDeleteDo you have a looking glass into my house? Enjoyed.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed the images that your word choice stirred up in my mind =) 'huddled' 'dropped' 'scattered' 'shaken.' Very nice.
ReplyDeleteThere's some lovely imagery in this, and it taps right into emotions I wish weren't quite so familiar.
ReplyDeleteI love "skirts of dawn"

Each line is a gem. Amazing work. Thanks for linking up. Please remember to return for the voting!
ReplyDeleteThose first two lines in particular are just stellar, but the whole poem ought to be set to music, in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteDrop dead first line!
ReplyDeleteI love the way it falls and crumbles, never quite recovering..
