Bitter love

Bitter love, hard-edged with softened toil,
bright darkness keening on the edge of mind,
as blackened day forms cold and sodden ash;
so limps along, forgotten cripple, time.

Acid sugar trust, crusts ancient, narrow lips,
as memory does web in brittle, circled form,
clinging to the damp and crumbling bricks;
crushed edifice relationship, now gone.

  1. Oh yes can understand this one while connecting the unconnectable... some relationships are like that!

    Sadness when relationships reach a finality! But things sometimes work its way like that. Nicely Roslyn!
