Words Too (2)

Words wandered,
waiting, wallowing,
winding, wistful
and forlorn.

Drifting, dancing,
simpering, sighing,
dying before
they're born.

Settled, sorrowed,
devastated,
draped on bitter,
sullen soil.

Never known,
cannot be held,
chains of fate
hold tight.

Frozen grief as
pillowed ice where
mind is trapped -
distraught!
