My philosophy of being

As a fundamental nature,
sourced in guiding principles,
my philosophy of being,
relies on  varied rules.

They may remain unknown,
at work in hidden depths,
or they may be conscious,
each powerful no less.

It's in the deeper knowing,
that I define my truths,
call life a great experiment,
with certainty removed.

Impute the best of motives,
and recognise each Soul,
know that we all are seeking,
to answer inner calls.

Find meaning in the moment,
and purpose in each day,
embrace whatever comes;
for me this makes my way.

Rightly so Roslyn! The philosophy of being has to be realized by one's own self without any promptings. There is that inherent desire to be seen and to be a portent force that brings out the desire! Great thoughts!

  4. Ah.. yes..! to find sacred meaning and purpose in
life.. a continual journey for those of us
who continue to see the holy
    in all that exists from
    a strand of gray
    hair..
    to a grain of sand
    to the eyes of children
to the seas of old and new
    to the last grasp
    for breath

  5. Life is indeed a mystery, shrouded in uncertainty. It takes years to become comfortable with that.

  6. Love the idea of finding meaning in the moment and purpose in the day. A poem that encourages a positive attitude to life.

    call life a great experiment,

  8. I think that we all live our lives according to some set of rules, and I suspect that often, we don't even know what rules we are following..It would be nice if we all set rules for ourselves that would allow us to make the world a better place!

  9. You demonstrate no deeper truths in the racist garbage you post on Facebook, no wonder your writing lacks originality, insight, spark or passion
