I kept my silence,
shrouded fear,
and held to brittle

  1. Really powerful. It invoked in me a sense of despair and resignation... emotions I have known only too well at times. This actually made me think of a number of phases in my life when hope and fear were intertwined. Haunting, with a melancholic beauty.

  2. Ah yes, the price we pay for not speaking our own truth. Thanks.
