Inner work

Mine the depths of darkness,
dig through blackened holes,
sweat in tunnelled grieving;
all will be resolved.

Dust and ash are swallowed,
light is barely seen,
crouch in narrowed crawl;
fear rewrites the dream.

Choke on bitter fadings,
hold to crippled path,
know it leads to daylight;
horrors never last.
